"Christmas Magic"

When Ray was a lad and Eileen a young lass,
they were as typical as kids could be.
Eyes agape at the ornaments and lights,
ablaze on their own Christmas tree.
(Poem continues below)

And under her tree on Chrisrmas morn
a Magic Set was found.
She loved to perform as all of you know
and her magic still knows no bounds.

A new Lionel train, electric, you bet,
spelled the magic of Christmas for me.
And the old red caboose has surely seen
a million or so trips 'round the tree.

Simpler times they were back then
and memories are alive for sure.
The Season's still filled with wonder and awe
when the child in us all endures.

Of course the true magic of Christmas
is that God came to earth from above.
He delivered a simple message
of Peace, Good Will, and Love.

Have a truly magic Christmas!
