LOVE ME, LOVE ME NOT
The Forsythe Bridge spans the Big Flatrock River in Rush County, Indiana.
Built in 1888 by Emmett L. Kennedy, the 186-foot, Burr arch bridge is nestled deep in the countryside. Three generations of the Kennedy family built
58 elegant bridges in Indiana from 1870 to 1918.
This painting, with its daisy-filled setting, recall a quiet spring afternoon spent daydreaming - "She loves me, she loves me not, she..."

PERENNIAL FAVORITES
The Scipio Bridge spans Sand Creek in Jennings County, Indiana.
Built in 1886, this 148-foot, Howe truss bridge was originally designed
to serve the railroad. When that project failed, the bridge served the county
until 1976. It has since been restored and reopened to traffic.
The beauty of a graceful span and the nearby stately hollyhocks of summer
are indeed "perennial favorites".
