“Victorian
Romance” is the first piece by Ray Day to feature a Canadian subject.
Located
in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, it reflects the splendor
of it’s romantic era.
Built
in 1886, overlooking Simcoe Park, this grand home is indeed a magnificent
representation of fine victorian architecture. Collectors will find
it comparable to “Afternoon Tea” and “Winnie’s Place”.
Restored
in 1991, the home is now a public gallery, “The Preservation Fine
Art Gallery”, featuring the art of internationally acclaimed artist
Trisha Romance. Visitors may enjoy the new fish pond at the rear
of the Gallery which was inspired by the one Ray designed into “Victorian
Romance”.
