Hollywood Tower Hotel - SCULPTURE

Hollywood Tower Hotel - AUCTION PROJECT

Scroll down for progressive photos
showing the development of this painting - from
original concept sketch to finished watercolor.
See below for price, print specifications and availability.

Initial concept drawing is enlarged to actual painting size
and executed in ink. The vignette image is then
transferred to 300 lb. Arches watercolor paper.

While an ominous sky produces streaks of lightning,
the upper portion of the Tower nears completion.

Shades of green are applied in preliminary transparent
washes - luring the viewer through the stone-walled
pathway to a memorable journey.

Lower portion of the Hollywood Tower Hotel is caressed in
tropical foliage, swaying in the winds of an approaching storm.
