A Production Progressive"

A unique design by Ray Day
never before offered to collectors.

For the first time ever, collectors can bid on a
'Production Progressive' at the same time the sculpture
is released to the public - at Disneyana 2002.

Three essential elements used to reproduce
Ray's wax sculpture are presented on a new, two-tiered
base design. Each element is removable for personal inspection and enjoyment.

On the elevated 'left ear' of the
Mickey-shaped base rests a Resin Master.
One-half of a white, hard rubber mold
used to create the Master is attached.

On the elevated 'right ear' is a white Amorphite
Plaster Cast. One-half of a beige, thin, flexible
silicone rubber mold covers a portion of the model.

In the center is a Painting Master from the
Lilliput Lane Studio. This Master is a painter's guide
during production of the 400 piece edition
for Disneyana 2002.

Brass plaques describe each element - masterfully produced
by the artisans at
Lilliput Lane, Penrith, England.
